Topic: Firefighters/Fire Safety
This presentation is set up to provide fire safety information for young students. At the beginning of the presentation we will familiarize the audience with local fire department information. The presentation than allows for students to assist in the research of specific fire department history. After completing the research we will look into the type of fire departments that are located in our area. In the Pine Grove Area we have all volunteer departments. Incorporated into the slide is a cartoon of a firefighter, what he would need to fight a fire and it shows the students what a firefighter looks like. Throughout the presentation I have inserted two videos to introduce fire safety and prevention techniques. The students will be asked to actively participate during the presentation by practicing the correct stop, drop and roll techniques.

I really enjoyed your presentation. What age group is it for? I like how interactive it was for the students. I also like how you immediately had the students connect to the project by finding which fire department is close to their house on a map. That would help them see how they are connected to the community also.
